Reserving your space in Sunday Worship

We are using online reservations to manage attendance and limit seating capacity. We currently have capacity for approximately 100 worshippers spaced safely apart in the Sanctuary for our 8:45 am service.

Options for reserving seats:

1. Seating Areas for Couples/Groups of Two

We have measured out 16 seating areas in the front of the sanctuary that are at least 6 feet apart from each other. Couples or groups of two can sit in these seats.

2. Seating Areas for Families/Groups of 3-5 People

We have ten seating areas for families/groups of 3-5 people in the back section of the Sanctuary and an additional four seating areas for families/groups in the balcony. Each seating for groups is the length of half of a pew and can accommodate up to 5 members of the same household.

  • If you have more than 5 members of your household that will be attending together, you will need to reserve an additional seating area to accommodate everyone in your group.

  • If you have a combination of small children and adults, please use your best judgment as to how many can fit comfortably in a seating area.

3. Individual Chairs

In addition to the seating areas, individual chairs will be placed 6 feet apart around the back of the sanctuary and can be reserved by individuals and couples.

  • If single chairs are full at the time of reservation, individuals and couples may reserve a full seating area.

  • Individuals and couples from different households will not be placed together in a seating area.

Ushers will direct you to your seats upon arrival. You will not be able to request a specific pew or chair location ahead of time.

Please keep in mind the following guidelines for attending worship in-person:

  • Masks must be worn in the building at all times and are expected to fully cover the nose and mouth.

  • We will maintain social distance during the service. There will be no hugging, shaking hands, or other contact permitted.

  • We will not sing when worshiping in person. Hymns will be played and led by the church staff. The congregation may be asked to hum along to the hymns.

  • You will be asked to enter through the Gathering Area doors and exit the building through the Sanctuary doors.

  • Please plan to arrive by 8:30 am to allow enough time for seating.

Before reserving your space, please take a moment to read the Expectations for Those Who Worship at UMCWC During the Yellow and Green Phase and the  Visitor Screening that you will be asked to review before entering the building.
