Updated 5.22.20- Statement on Coronavirus COVID-19 and Church Programming/Building Status

When Chester County is ordered into the Yellow Phase, we will be allowed to host groups of no more than 25 people in our building. In the Yellow Phase, we will continue to offer online worship only. Small groups within our church will be able to schedule meetings, following appropriate social distancing guidelines and policies set by the CDC, our conference, and our Church Council. On-going planning and training will take place to prepare our church to receive larger groups in our building in the Green Phase.

WORSHIP

Our building is closed for worship for the near future. However, we will continue to livestream our 8:45 am Sunday worship service. You can watch the livestream here. In the event that you miss the service at the regular time, these services are also archived on our YouTube channel. Take part in the chat feature available in live-time on YouTube.

ALL CHURCH MEETINGS, SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES, AND EVENTS ARE ON HOLD
Look for emails from any group or class you are involved in for updated information. Pastor Rounsley is offering a Faithlink Study through Zoom and there are also opportunities for fellowship over Zoom. Check our Facebook page regularly for opportunities for online fellowship, prayer, and words of encouragement. Zoom links will be sent in the weekly church email update. Not receiving the weekly emails? Contact the church office to be added.

The office may be having limited hours. However, messages will be checked on a regular basis (610-692-5190). If you call the church and no one answers, please leave a message and someone will get back to you. If you have an emergency you may contact Rev. Brooks on his cell at 484-340-0272.

CONGREGATIONAL CARE

We ask all members to please become part of the Prayerlink, where we will be offering not only prayer requests, but requests for help of any kind as needed. Email Luanne Sims to be added.

Although visitation is limited, we are available to help with many of the needs of our congregation members that may arise. Volunteers are available to make deliveries of food or prescriptions to shut-ins, if necessary. If you have a need, an emergency, or a suggestion, contact Pastor Brooks.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Act in Faith and the West Chester Food Cupboard will see an increase in neighbors needing help. Consider donating food items to them weekly. They are also asking for and accepting monetary donations.
