Holy Week and Easter Worship

We will offer several opportunities for worship, reflection, & celebration. Be a part of this special week in the life of all Christians.

Palm/Passion Sunday - April 14
8:45 & 11:00 am: We will remember Jesus' triumphal entrance into Jerusalem with procession, palms, and music. The end of the service will usher us into the reality of the rest of the story as Holy Week unfolds.

Maundy Thursday - April 18
6:40 pm: Worship in the Fiesta Center featuring a light dinner and the Lord's Supper around tables, with music led by the Chancel Choir and Carillon Choir. We will end with the stripping of the Lord's table.

Good Friday, April 19
7:00 pm: Tenebrae Service in the sanctuary of light and darkness through the dramatic reading of the passion.

Easter Resurrection Worship, April 21
6:15 am: Sunrise Service at Boot Road Park, 110 Boot Rd.

8:45 and 11:00 am:  Both worship services will have special music and an uplifting message. The outdoor cross will be decorated by our children, with multi-colored flowers to celebrate the resurrection.

Walk the Labyrinth During Holy Week

April 14-19 in the Fiesta Center.

The labyrinth is a sacred space used for prayer and meditation. It has been used by Christians since the Middle Ages as a devotional tool.

The labyrinth is a model or metaphor for life. Our Christian life is often described as a pilgrimage with God. Walking the labyrinth can draw us closer to God. It includes turns as life does. It provides quiet time to concentrate on prayer, our life journey, and to listen for what God might be saying to us.

Come this Holy Week and use the labyrinth.
