We break for the Summer
UNITED FRIENDS DANCE PARTY is a monthly in-person dance party for adults in the Chester County area with intellectual and developmental disabilities that has been happening for 50 plus years, hosted by the Youth Ministry of the United Methodist Church of West Chester.
Held in the Youth Room at the
United Methodist Church of West Chester,
129 S. High St, West Chester, PA 19382
Cost $1.00
includes admittance,
drink, and snack
The entrance to the dance is at the back door of the church. From High St., turn onto Barnard Street, then left onto Sharon Alley behind the church. West Chester Borough has free parking in lots and on the streets on Sundays. We will be dancing in the Youth Room which is located straight through the double doors. Someone will be at the door to welcome you and help,
if needed.
In case of an emergency, ALL guests must be accompanied by a qualified chaperone, who must remain on the premises unless given special permission by United Friends Dance Party staff.
We try to play a wide variety of music from yesterday and today—grooving oldies to current chart toppers, along with dance party favorites like the Cha Cha Slide, Cupid Shuffle, The Macarena, YMCA, and more! Those who don't want to dance can chill on the comfy couches, watch the game on the big screen, or play pool and ping pong!
