Mercy Atuahene

Mercy Atuahene joined the West Chester United Methodist's Stephen Ministry in 2016 and has been a church member over the past ten years. Mercy is passionate about her Christian faith and experiences and loves to share them with others. As a dedicated Christian, Mercy is enthusiastic about meeting the needs of others through compassion, faith, and prayer. Mercy believes that God's love for humanity is unconditional regardless of our shortcomings and life struggles. 

 

Before joining the United Methodist Church, Mercy served in the prayer ministries and evangelism groups until she moved to the United States.

 

Professionally, Mercy holds a master’s degree in Mathematics and Operations Research and Applied Statistics. She currently works as a Biostatistical programmer summarizing clinical trials data to positively contribute to the medical needs of humanity to improve the individual's quality of life.

 

Mercy is a native of Ghana and the first of 5 siblings. She is married to her lovely husband, Francis Atuahene. They have two beautiful girls – NanaYaa Atuahene (7 years) and Nana-Adoma Atuahene (11 months).
